Tzu Poo Supply List

Home Set Up:

• Pen - You can get free standing pens from FB Marketplace, Ikea, Chewy or Amazon

  For Tzu/Poos you can get away with 18 inches. I haven't had a climber yet. But Neville was a climber so I'd suggest the kind with bars rather than a grid.

• Bed

• Floor protector for pen - I use canvas tarps but rolled linoleum is common and works well

• Potty pads

• My Pet Peed - Cleaner that dissolves urine 

• Black light for detecting accidents

• Oxyclean or equivalent

Grooming Supplies:

• Grooming wipes

• Eye wipes

• Blunt end scissors

• Small clippers

• Ear cleaner

• Nail clippers (in the beginning you can just use a human one)

• Brush

• Comb

• Ear powder if plucking at home

Living Supplies:

• Socialization Checklist

• Food dish

• Water dish - Something heavy and hard to spill. I use rectangle glass or stainless steel food storage containers

• Harness - Collars are accessory only for small dogs due to risks of collapsed trachea. Leash must be attached to harness

• Leash - Very light for small dogs

• Carrier- Pouch, Purse, Duffel Bag, Backpack

• Strollers work best in crowds such as festivals. They also give your toy breed more security and confidence around big dogs

• Toys

• Bitter Apple or other taste deterrent

• Coat if in cold climate - wait until needed because puppy will grow

• Poop bags/scoop

Food:

• Chews

• Food - Currently eating Northwestern Naturals 

• Training Treats - Small and soft

Optional But Handy:

• “Lickey Mats” 

• Treat pouch

• On the go water bottle

• Very small clipper for paws and eyes

• Nutri-Cal or other supplement in case puppy loses appetite in transition home
